With a passion to help people do more with their wealth, Russ provides strategic investment consulting and comprehensive wealth management services to high-net-worth clients. He specializes in working with successful executives, business owners, and other corporate professionals to help them make more informed and effective financial decisions.

As Director of the Charlotte Office, Russ manages the growth and strategic direction in the Carolinas and leads a dedicated, credentialed team of professionals that serve families across the region.

Before joining SignatureFD, Russ worked at SunTrust Investment Services, where he conducted due diligence on investment managers and assisted in the suitable implementation of investment strategies throughout the bank’s brokerage channel. Russ began his career at TIAA-CREF as an investment consultant, working with the firm’s nonprofit clients to set investment strategy. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Russ is an affiliate member of North Carolina Society of Financial Analysts and serves as an advisory board member for Grubb Southeast Real Estate Fund V and VI. He is also a member of the Financial Times FA Leadership Council, the Foundation for the Carolinas Professional Advisor Cabinet, and the YMCA of Greater Charlotte Golfing for Good Committee.
