Before joining SignatureFD, Ama worked as a Research Associate in investment banking. During that time, she enjoyed putting her skills to work creating research reports, data charts, and market research analyses for company profiles and potential client investments. She worked to provide informed data for wise decision-making with her expertise in TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecom) investment banking research, advanced Excel expertise, and financial database knowledge.

Ama joined SignatureFD as a Portfolio Accounting Specialist in August of 2022 and moved into her role as a Senior Portfolio Accounting Specialist at the end of 2024. At SignatureFD, she channels her passion for attention to detail in delivering precise and compliant data to advisors for their clients..

Ama is a SCRUM Master, holds a Google Analytics certification, and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Spelman College in 2014. 

She is a current DreamTeam volunteer at Change Church, sponsors a child through Food for the Hungry, and has volunteered with the West Atlanta Watershed Alliance, Hands on Atlanta, Books for Africa, Open Hand, and MedShare. She enjoys fitness, recycling, and traveling—balancing her love for service with self-care so she can continue doing what she does best.
