My Net Worthwhile® is to stay focused on that which really matters in life—thriving (not just surviving), in the context of our faith, family, friendships and fun!

How many hours a year would you guess that you spend thinking about money in some form or another? Ten? Twenty? One hundred? Evan believes money is a continuous distraction throughout most of life. In his opinion, with the heart and mindset, we can all learn to remove the distractions and feel “free” with money, but it takes work.

Evan‘s unique background in finance, ministry and counseling enables him to strike a balance with IQ and EQ. As an Advisor and Certified Financial Planner™, Evan strives to help show people that money can be a tool that is used to give us a full life. His goal is to ask the questions to help clients understand what they want out of life, and more importantly, why. Authenticity is one of Evan’s highest values, he keeps things real. He wants to dig deeper and build a comprehensive outlook and plan for life—one that’s focused on living a full life with no regrets.

There are two constants throughout Evan’s life – relationships and money. Starting with his paper route at nine years old, he has always believed in working hard, saving, and investing wisely. He graduated with high honors from Georgia Tech and went on to complete the rigorous qualifications as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) professional. He also spent eight years serving with the youth ministry of Young Life. He graduated with a Master of Divinity from Columbia Seminary and served as a Chaplain at Grady Hospital. In other words, “trust” is a key element in his personal and professional life; he has been walking alongside families in a very intentional way for twenty-five years.

Evan lives in Atlanta with his wife Julia, and they enjoy regular dance parties with their three daughters. They are avid travelers who have been to 40 countries and still maintain a profound connection within their community. Evan is also on part-time staff with Generous Giving, a member of Trinity Anglican Church, an Advisory Board member of The Shepherd Center, co-leader of the Atlanta Associates Program, and is a former Treasurer for both Morris Brandon Elementary School PTO and School Ministries ATL. He remains committed to helping develop the next generation of strong communities—spiritually, professionally and emotionally.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CFP® and CFP® in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
