Matt helps entrepreneurs and small business owners navigate their financial lives through a comprehensive wealth management approach that allows them to focus on what they do best – running their businesses. He specializes in working with business owners to develop a coordinated plan to taxes, develop a succession plan, and ensure appropriate asset protection. He provides personal financial design solutions that enable his clients to be intentional with their time, helping them to make a more significant impact on the people and things most important to them.

Before joining SignatureFD, Matt spent five years as an associate at Homrich Berg. At this Atlanta-based wealth management firm, his responsibilities included assisting high-net-worth and family office clients in preparing customized, long-term financial plans to minimize taxes and ensure he addressed their goals. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Financial Planning from the University of Georgia.

Matt is active in the local financial planning community and was the President of the Board of the Financial Planning Association of Georgia in 2017. He is also an active member of the University of Georgia Financial Planning Alumni Association and the CFA Society of Atlanta.
