As Director of Financial Planning, Matt coaches and develops the planning team while driving the adoption of planning technology, ensuring clients benefit from a consistent and thorough approach. He specializes in estate, tax, education, retirement, and business planning.

Before joining SignatureFD, Matt spent nearly eight years at Creative Planning as a Partner and Senior Financial Planner, helping high-net-worth clients develop and implement comprehensive financial plans. Earlier in his career, he worked at Homrich Berg for four years, handling trading and operations while providing financial planning support to clients. 

Matt earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Professional Sales from Kennesaw State University. He is also a Certified Financial Planner practitioner.

Matt enjoys spending time with his wife Cara, and their two children Alexander and Hollis, traveling the world, playing golf, and cheering on Atlanta sports teams. He is an active member of Marietta First United Methodist Church and, along with his family, volunteers and fosters dogs through BarkVille Dog Rescue.
