Val lives out the principles instilled in her during childhood about the value of hard work and making smart decisions around money. As a senior planning associate with SignatureFD, Val supports the advisor team by developing personalized financial design solutions for clients. She provides support in the areas of financial risk management, retirement planning, cash flow management, tax planning, and estate planning.

Val spent three years in the financial industry before joining SignatureFD, providing corporate executives with comprehensive personal financial planning, investment planning, and tax services. 

She received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Florida and earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. 

Originally from Colombia, Val is fluent in Spanish and proficient in French.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CFP® and CFP® in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
