In working with executives, Dan found a passion to help leaders align their resources and passions to their desired impact on their company, family and community.  Dan not only has the expertise to deal with executive compensation and benefits but is able to ask the right questions to get the executive moving toward their desired outcomes.  Dan’s proactive approach helps executives make the right decisions and offload the issues, enabling them to focus on what matters most.

Dan is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional.  He has served as president of the Financial Planning Association of Georgia, a member of the Georgia Planned Giving Council and as a content expert for the paired review and examination review committees for the Certified Financial Planner Board of Examiners. Dan has been named a “Five Star Best in Client Satisfaction Wealth Manager” by Atlanta magazine in partnership with Five Star Professional.

Before joining SignatureFD, Dan was the managing principal of PPA Advisors. He started financial planning in 1988 with Asset Management Group after graduating from the University of Georgia with a BBA in Finance.

Dan is Chairman of the Board of International Leadership Institute. He also coaches leaders at Grace Midtown Church and is involved in Young Life.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CFP® and CFP® in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
